Animated poem-Bordoisila

Animated depiction of Hemchandra Goswami's poem 'Bordoisila'. Bordoisila is the local name of a wild wind in Assam which is marked by heavy thundershowers. Local legends refer to Bordoisila as a married young woman, who is hurrying to reach her mother's house in time for Bihu. In her hurry to reach her destination, she ends up destroying everything on her way. This famous poem is a request to the wild wind to move slowly and spare the houses of the poor. Both loved and feared, Bordoisila has been a constant in Assam during April - the time of Bohag Bihu and the Assamese New Year.
